Recording Studio

Citrus Studios presently have 2 studios and control rooms with tielines to the Haugh Performing Arts Center, a 1400 seat auditorium for large scoring sessions.

Studio & Control Booth A
Studio A is the larger studio accommodating 40 musicians with 2 isolation booths and a drum booth. The room is 51 feet wide by 24 feet deep (at its narrowest) with an average visible ceiling height of 14 feet. There is an additional 6 feet of air volume above the visible ceiling.

Studio & Control Booth B
Studio B is the smaller studio appropriate for small groups or overdub sessions with 2 isolation booth. The room is 42 feet wide by 16 feet deep (at its narrowest) with an average visible ceiling height of 14 feet. There is an additional 6 feet of air volume above the visible ceiling.

Citrus Art Gallery

The Visual & Performing Arts program at Citrus College is pleased to announce the opening of the Citrus College Art Gallery. Four times a year, different exhibitions will be shown representing both student and professional works.

Dance Studio

A state-of-the-art 40 foot by 60 foot dance studio features a professional sprung dance floor, full-length mirrors and ballet barres.

Little Theater

A traditional 50 foot by 50 foot black box flexible theater with seating for up to 130 depending on the configuration. Students learn to work with QLab playback, a central speaker cluster and surround effects speakers. Lighting consists of traditional and moving lights that can be augmented with projections and video wall, all run by students in the ETT program.

Ceramic Studio

The studio continues a long tradition of Cone 10 high-fired ceramics, and is equipped with 36 electric wheels; four gas kilns, including a car kiln; four electric kilns for low fire and tile; one raku kiln; and one salt fire and experimental kiln.

There are over 35 glazes and a separate room for glaze mixing and production. The program features equipment for hand building, tile making, clay sculpture and 3-D design, including three slab rollers and two extruders. We proudly offer students the use of professional claymaking and pugging equipment, and all recycled clay is free for student use.

Haugh Perfoming Arts Center

The Haugh Performing Arts Center is a 1,400 seat state-of-the-art proscenium venue designed to engage and connect the community to the campus of Citrus College. Hosting an ever-evolving combination of world-class, professional performances, academic productions, and community engagements, the HPAC acts as the largest learning lab on campus. From working and learning alongside the HPAC’s professional crew to performing on its stage, VPA students are at the heart of the Haugh Performing Arts Center’s mission.
